Black Walnut Cutting Board

This board is built for the moments that matter, setting out breakfast on a Sunday morning, arranging cheese and fruit before friends arrive, or simply having a place to slice bread while dinner simmers on the stove.

Crafted in my Oakville studio from black walnut, each board honours the wood's natural character. I select pieces for their [grain pattern/colour/unique feature] and finish them by hand with food-safe oil that protects the surface while bringing out the wood's inherent warmth. No two boards will ever look the same. Each one carries its own character in the wood: a reminder of nature’s artistry and the timelessness of slow craftsmanship.
